I'm your average gal – normal, cute and independent. I am 31 years old. I am tall and all natural. ;-)

I live in Los Angeles, CA (near the CBS Studios if you are familiar with LA) but am originally from Massachusetts where most of my family still lives. I have been in LA since August of 1994, so almost 15 years now.

I like reading good books (literature, science fiction, fantasy, erotica), enjoy indie and Hollywood movies, tend to be all over the radio dial (before satellite), love live music, like to do offbeat things for variety, have traveled to foreign countries and can’t wait for my next trip, enjoy outdoor activities, enjoy sports (avid fan of all New England Teams and the USC Trojans) and spend almost zero time "primping". I'm a great listener and am deeply devoted to friends and family.

17. I like to walk in my bare feet in the grass but there is not much of the green stuff in my neighborhood so it’s been months since I did this.

20. My eyes are hazel and can look blue or green.

22. I hate housework but am compulsively neat. It will look clean…just don’t wipe your finger on anything.
23. I dream of taking a year off and traveling the world.
24. I knit. A lot. And own a lot of yarn.
25. My hair color is currently reddish-brown. I have been a blonde and a red head. I go to a salon where I pay lots of money but I have been going to the same gal for 12 years and trust her implicitly. That’s loyalty!

27. I love vampire stories. And ghost stories. Basically anything supernatural in nature.
28. Usually, I get disappointed when I read a book before watching the movie based on the book. I wasn't disappointed with the 'Harry Potter' or 'Lord of The Rings' movies.

32. My middle name is Ruth. My maternal grandmother’s name is Ruth. My mom wanted to name me Sara Lee. She decided against it after her friends told her I couldn’t be named after a food.
33. I have been to a magic convention. It was…ah….interesting.
34. I eat Atkins Chocolate Peanut Bars and a piece of fruit for breakfast every day.
35. I take public transportation to work – a combo of a buses and trains. This brands me freakish in LA where everyone drives.
36. I went to the University of Southern California (USC). Go Trojans! I have a BS in Civil Engineering. I have a MS in Environmental Engineering.
37. My new thing is to listen to books on my mp3 player. I never thought I would enjoy having people read to me.
38. I am terrible about keeping in touch with friends. I never call, e-mail or write. I don’t know why.
39. I love margaritas on the rocks, no salt. I like my vodka neat and I drink Diet Coke from a can only
40. I like to play Bingo. It’s a family tradition. It was our big rite of passage when my siblings and I turned 18.
41. I have a tattoo. It is on my finger. I want another tattoo of a Scorpion but I can’t decide where to put it.
42. I love to gamble and have been to Vegas over 20 times in 10-years. I have played everything but lately have playing a lot of poker since you lose money slowly and it’s sociable. At least low stakes is!
43. I do construction administration work. Construction is a happening business.
44. I can’t cook. I have messed up instant pudding, a story my family loves to tell. But I make a mean salad.
45. I can’t rollerblade but I can roller skate. At least I used to be able to.
46. I work for local government.

48. I watch a lot of TV and could not live without my TiVo.
49. I drive a 2002 Red Ford Focus ZX5. And I am mean to it. She has scratches all over.

53. My best friend is a surgeon. We went to high school and college together.
54. When I was younger I detested seafood but now I love sushi.

56. I have been to Europe. My favorite European City is Rome and my second favorite is Berlin.
57. I live with my best friend who happens to also be my ex-boyfriend. We have cohabitated for over 2 years and he is my “domestic partner”. It’s an odd situation but works for us.
58. I like all music but I really like Country Music.
59. I am a bit clumsy and bruise my body all the time.
60. I want a motorcycle.
61. I could live in flip-flops. I have over 20 pairs.
62. I started wearing glasses when I was 8. I got contacts when I was 14. I got LASIK when I was 26. It was a Valentine’s gift to myself.
63. I daydream about winning the lottery or hitting a big jackpot in Vegas. I can spend an hour thinking about all the ways I would spend the money.
64. I have a goal of staying at every hotel on the Las Vegas Strip at least once. I have managed 2/3rds so far.
65. I don’t wear a watch. The last one I owned was stolen from me by a school kid in a German castle. But my brother bought me a Movado for Christmas.
66. I want to go back to school but I can’t decide what I want to be when I reach my mid-life crisis.
67. I am in debt and like most Americans, I can’t seem to crawl out of it.

69. I can’t tell a joke but some people think I am hilarious.
70. One of my nicknames is Gumdrop given to me by a friend’s step-mother during a trip to Death Valley.
71. I am often called Ally for short. My first boyfriend called me Ally Oop.
72. I have been to Disneyland Paris and expect in the next few years that I will visit all the foreign parks (Hong Kong and Japan). My bf is a Disney Freak.
73. I graduated 4th in my high school class.
74. My Dad is one of 14. He is one of the youngest at 53. I have cousins as old as my Dad.
75. I have slept overnight in an airport. I do not recommend it.
76. I have a genetic disorder that makes me prone to blood clots. I found this out the hard way that involved a hospital stay and lots of medication.
77. I want to visit South East Asia.
78. I have an IUD and think it is the best birth control ever invented.
79. I have been to London, Paris and Amsterdam three times. Amsterdam is OK, I don’t really like Paris but London is the bomb!.
80. I have ridden the EuroStar. It’s cool to think I have been under the English Channel.
81. I bought my parents their first computer for XMAS 2001. It was an i-mac. For XMAS 2006, I got them a new PC since they can’t live without a computer now.
82. I have one nephew who is the smartest kid around. He’s in 1st Grade.
83. I have an Annual Pass to Disneyland and have for the past 4-years. I usually go at least once a month, sometimes more.
84. I have an incredible sense of direction and can find my way anywhere.
85. I procrastinate and work better under pressure.
86. I have driven a car 100 miles an hour but just once.
87. I got my first speeding ticket in June 2003 for going 50mph in a 35mph zone.
88. I was blessed by the breast fairy and cursed by the hip fairy.
89. I partied with the Black Eyed Peas in Vegas once. I accidentally spilled a drink on one of them. He wasn’t happy.
90. I am honest to the point of being blunt. I have lost friends this way so now I try to be a bit more tactful.
91. I used to club a bit in my early 20’s but the $10 drinks were bankrupting me.

93. I don’t like being single. I am much happier in a relationship.
94. My best guy friend is a magician. He is extremely talented and well known in the magic community.
95. I love musicals and like to pretend I am a Broadway singer.
96. I have a cat names Gus. He is the friendliest cat in the neighborhood and is welcomed into more houses than me. His sister Clou-ee also lives with me but technically she is my old roommates’ kitty.
97. I go to comic book conventions. And buy comic books.
98. I used to have a personal trainer who I paid to kick my ass. Now I try to kick my own ass and am not nearly as successful.
99. I had Tungsten E that I never use because I hated carrying so much stuff. So I went and paid and obscene amount of money to buy a PDA phone, a Treo 700p.
