So many books have photos of projects that look good, but are bad for needlework and no diagrams.

When will they learn?

Again thanks for your honest reviews. I did get Hollywood Knits Style that you reviewed a while back from the library. She (Suss Cousins) does go on and on with the name dropping, and hopefully, there not as many errors in this book as in her a first one, but I'm a more experienced knitter now, and some of the patterns are cute.

I hate that in knitting books. Of course they're meant to be artsy, but on the instructions pages I'd expect at least a front and back to show the finished knit flat. Gah.

The blurry photos are "artistic". I can't stand it when they do that, too. I think if they have artistic ones, they need to have some clear, detailed close-up shots, IMHO.

All of the patterns are maternity? Could they be altered for non-preggers people? I like that tie front cardigan on the front... but alas, I am not pregnant! (no time soon!)
